Deep Red - SGS 1040

Description

• Stains can be used with earthenware and stoneware clay, slip or glaze.
• All colours are intermixable.
• Maximum Firing Temperature 1300°C.
• Don’t add more than 10% stain based on the dry weight of whatever you adding it to.
• Please be aware that if you intend to use stains to make underglazes you must add underglaze flux.
• It’s recommended that you test the stain with a small sample before scaling up.

Precautions

• Wear a mask and gloves when working with stains and avoid breathing in stain dust as it is toxic.
• Do not get in eyes or on skin.
• Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
