An Extremely Reliable Blend Of Local Clays Firing To A Warm Toasted, Textured Buff Colour Between 1186?C And 1263?C. Twenty Percent Grog (0.7 – 1.2Mm) Has Been Added To Give The Desired Texture. The Clay Is Ideal For Sculpture And Handwork, And Is Excellent For Very Large Wheelthrown Vessels. It Is Also Used For Raku With Much Success. (It Is Too Coarse For Small Thrown Items Such As Domestic Ware)
